Showbiz Academy was established in 1999 and still to this day our ethos is underpinned by the following principles:

1. Relationships are at the heart of our school and you will hear students and parents describe us as a Family. Many students stay with us for their entire school years (and continue to stay in touch) and develop life long friends.
2. Respect and Kindness building on our core of Relationships, we create an environment where our students can get away from the pressures of life and have fun whilst they learn and grow as performers. Everyone at our school (teachers and students) are accepted for who they are. We encourage and expect everyone to be treated in this way so our school is built upon mutual respect and kindness. 
3. Exceptional standards we have a small Faculty of teachers, all are professionally trained to the highest standards at World Recognised Performing Arts Colleges. All have worked as performers within this industry in their chosen fields so can share this experience and expertise to our pupils. All teaching staff have DBS certification.  Critically they have all worked at our school for many years and so we have consistent Faculty each week(same teachers throughout each term) high standards of teaching and results. Our school’s Showcase performances at the Tower Theatre are always a demonstration of the growth and hard work of our students and receive high accolades from everyone that attends. 
4. Small and Independent School our intention will always be to offer exceptional value to our students with high teaching standards. We work hard to provide high levels of tuition and development at a reasonable cost so that our classes are inclusive. 
5. Unlocking Potential Our team works hard to understand and build strong relationships with our pupils so we can help every child achieve their full potential. We give students belief and confidence that they can achieve anything if they want it and work hard enough. Our ethos is that if you believe in yourself then you can do it, not just when performing but in all other aspects of life.
